### How much does Silicon cost? +
Team is $1,499 a month and Pro is $2,399 a month, with unlimited users on both. Enterprise pricing is tailored to your scale and requirements.
### How is embedded analytics billed? +
On Pro, embedding is an add-on: the first 1,000 embed loads each month are free, then $0.05 per load. Enterprise uses usage-based pricing.
### Can Silicon build and maintain our data for us? +
Yes. Through our data partnership, we build and maintain your data foundation on Silicon as the company grows. It's quoted after a short discovery and always includes the platform. See the data partnership page.
### Is Silicon really unlimited users? +
Yes. Every plan includes unlimited users. There is no per-seat pricing.
### Where is my data stored? +
Your data stays in your warehouse. Silicon runs queries there and caches results briefly to keep dashboards fast. Hosted workspaces run in the US, with an EU region on Pro. Enterprise can deploy in your own VPC.
### Do I need dbt to use Silicon? +
No. Silicon works natively with dbt, and Silicon YAML lets you define metrics without dbt.
### Is Silicon SOC 2 certified? +
Not yet. We have not completed a SOC 2 or HIPAA audit. Our Security page describes how we handle data today, and we're happy to complete your security questionnaire.
### Can I change plans later? +
Yes. You can move between Team and Pro at any time.
