## Revenue
### Monthly recurring revenue (MRR)
MRR = sum of monthly subscription value for all active subscriptions
### Annual recurring revenue (ARR)
ARR = MRR x 12
### Net revenue
Net revenue = gross revenue − refunds − discounts − returns
### Average order value (AOV)
AOV = net revenue / number of orders
### Gross margin
Gross margin = (revenue − cost of goods sold) / revenue
## Growth
### Active users
Active users = count of distinct users with at least one qualifying event
### Signup conversion rate
Signup conversion rate = signups / unique visitors
### Activation rate
Activation rate = activated signups / total signups
## Customers
### Retention rate
Retention rate = customers retained / customers at start of period
### Churn rate
Churn rate = customers lost during period / customers at start of period
### Net revenue retention (NRR)
NRR = (starting MRR + expansion − contraction − churned MRR) / starting MRR

ARPU = revenue / active users (or accounts)

CAC = sales and marketing spend / new customers acquired

Pipeline coverage = open pipeline value / quota

Average resolution time = total resolution hours / resolved tickets
